Friday Madness: Winter wonderland
Inspiration can come from anywhere. And since, as a team, we’re neck deep in designing for our fabulous 2012 clients, everything we look at lately seems to be some form of beautiful or amazing or magical. But, this was unexpected. And more than that, it is completely jaw-dropping. Because it’s real and natural. Coming to you straight from National Geographic, this is the result of wind and snow and freezing weather in Canada.

If today is your birthay… Happy Birthday!
Today is February 29 or Leap Day — a day that arrives once every four years. It’s not just another day. Feb. 29th has a important mathematical purpose. It’s accounts for the accumulated extra hours it has taken the Earth to rotate the sun over the past four years. It’s all about setting the calendar in sync with the seasons. But for leapers and leaplings — those born on this auspicious day — today’s the day they can celebrate their actual birthdays. Comic book hero Superman was said to be born on this day on his home planet Krypton. Women in fifth-century Ireland were free to pop the question to their marriage-averse beaus on this day, and this day only. And that’s just for starters. I’ve pulled together some facts and folklore all about the day that comes only once every four years.

Missing in action….
I know we’ve been a wee bit MIA. It’s just, well – we HAVE been working on something pretty awesome. I won’t spoil the surprise, but stay tuned for photos of maybe the most challenging design challenge to date. Then there is the rest of our time spent with all our brides, undevided and attention to detail time.
In the meantime….we owe you guys big time. We owe you a piece of our heart, and here it is. Warning! It’s a little bit long. A little bit raw. And a little bit, ALL of us.
