The open day at the Wedding Info Centre, Menlyn Retail Park was a huge success. With the weather a bit miserable and cold in the morning when we set up the table, we thought no-one would get out of bed and come to have tea with us. Nor to talk our fabulous table…
Well, the sun showed its rays and it turned out to be a fantastic, although a bit chilly day after all. The table got a lot of attention and we are thankful for all the comments of encouragement and appreciation from other exhibitors, not to mention all the brides to be and a few grooms. Madelein’s cupcakes were a hit as usual and we are thankful for the collaboration. We are getting into the swing of spring and our fuschia, black and cream colour scheme attracted a lot of attention, not only for the fresh boldness, but also for the stylish way we combined it with silver.
I have to admit that the paper flowers, as always, attracted the most of the attention. Especially because we only used paper and no real flowers.
Thank you for all the brides and grooms to be for joining us and for those who signed up with us we can’t wait to be a part of the big day.
